Main problems in walkthrough of Murphy

From the images below it becomes very apparent that there is a lack of signage, or noticable signage, that shows students how to get to the music library.  Once you reach the correct hallway, there still isn't signage, so the student has no idea that the library is on the left after the window. We plan on utilizing the ceiling ridges in a way that won't be obnoxious, but in a manner that catches the students attention.

Wayfinding

Chris, Hayley, and I have multiple friends that are music students. When talking with them, we noticed that Murphy Hall isn't very easy to navigate around when you are new to it. We decided it would be best to interview them and see if there seemed to be a central problem. Many of them said how hard it is getting from the old building to the new building, specifically to the music library from the main entrance. When we were doing our walk through, we noticed the lack of signage and like them, found it difficult to find the library. We noticed many ridges and corners in the hallways that could be utilized for possible signage.
