While I was searching the internet for examples of design posters, I came across some designs by Harry Sierman. I really enjoyed them (even though they aren't in english). I then looked back at my notes to look at what color scheme he used for each design. With the design on the top, he used harmonious hues by using mostly orange and red which are next to each other on the color wheel. I feel that this is very appealing to the eye and catches the viewers attention without being over the top. The bottom design can be considered both contrasting values and contrasting chromas. These methods allow the designer to use colors that are drastically different to create interest while keeping it from being too chaotic.
